Monkeys may be illegal to keep in some areas. Sometimes legal permits may be required, sheltering of the permit holders are checked for facilities and the care provided. Although having a monkey as a pet seems to be novel idea and the thought of your very own monkey running around the house brings playful and happy times for you and your children, the up keep and constant care has to be considered. As their natural surroundings are wild, this fact and others must be taken seriously if you are to buy a pet monkey.
