Fish - They’ll Swim Their Way into Your Heart.

Who can forget Nemo, the clown fish and his friends, who captured the hearts of people all over the world. So it’s no wonder why people some times want these fascinating creatures in their homes.

Your choice of fish usually depends on the size of your aquarium. If you have in mind a small fish bowl for the office desk, or for small sized ones like the hold fish, angelfish, zebra or any other with brilliant colors make sure you don’t crowd the bowl. Say, two goldfish for a 20 cm diameter bowl should do. If you’re going for smaller ones, put in a variety and make it colorful. A large sized aquarium too may also have small fish, but big cat fish, carp, parrot fish and shark is more appropriate.

Fish require special attention, especially during their change of place and water. When you bring new fish home, let the water bag remain in the tank water for a few hours, so that both water temperatures neutralize. Water loses its oxygen content with time, so make sure the water is changed every two weeks or so, or use an aerator. An aerator keeps the water fresh and gives your aquarium a bubbly underwater effect.

Water plants also help clear the water and fish love to play hide and seek in them. Every time you change the water, add a few drops of anti-algae solution so that no moss is formed on the glass. Anti-fungal solution is also added to keep your fish bacteria free and healthy.
